Police object to re-opening of West Bromwich pub following 'baton attack'
West Midlands Police has objected to plans for a West Bromwich pub to re-open after being stripped of its licence last year.

West Bromwich is famous for its football club, West Bromwich Albion, which has existed in the town since 1878. The town grew rapidly thanks to industries such as gun and nail-making as well as being well known as the home of Jensen Motors. Today people flock to the town's recently revamped Dartmouth Park and New Square shopping centre.
