Champions race out of the blocks
Summer League champions Lucas showed they mean business from the off in the Wolverhampton City Netball Winter League.

The winter campaign got under way on another warm, sunny evening, with Lucas beating Sam 2 by seven goals in Division One.
Chasetown Royals turned on the style against Libra Lea, edging ahead at the final whistle to secure victory by just one goal in another Division One encounter.
Elsewhere, Phoenix Hornets were 32-25 victors at Sam 4.
In Division Five, Katz and Pattingham Purple were goal-for-goal throughout in an evenly-matched game, eventually sharing the points with a 21-21 draw.
