Body of man found in Walsall canal

The body of a man has been found in a canal in Walsall.

Emergency services were called to the waterway off Reservoir Place, Pleck, at just before 6am on Wednesday.

The man is yet to be identified but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police blocked off the entrance to the street, off Darlaston Road, by the Walsall Canal after the discovery.
