Kieron Donaldson, 18, of Aston Lane, in Birmingham, and two 17-year-old boys from the Birmingham area – who cannot be named due to legal reasons – have been charged following their arrests on Wednesday.

The two boys have also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.

They are accused of killing Keon – who suffered gunshot and stab wounds – in Linwood Road, in the Handsworth area, on Thursday, January 21.

A 21-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.

A 14-year-old boy from Birmingham and a 15-year-old boy from Walsall have already been charged with Keon’s murder and have been remanded in custody after appearing at court last week.

Detective Chief Inspector Alastair Orencas, from West Midlands Police's homicide unit, said: "These charges are a significant milestone in our investigation but we continue to leave no stone unturned to get justice for Keon.

"Our enquiries remain ongoing and we still need you to come forward and tell us what you know. It could prove crucial in this investigation."
