Nuno Espirito Santo's team face four games in 11 days including testing trips to Millwall and Bristol City.

They begin the sequence with a visit from Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town on Saturday and Wolves know that whatever happens they'll be top at Christmas.

Moroccan midfielder Saiss said: " Every team wants to beat us now so it's very difficult.

"Sometimes a team adapts their tactics. We don't need to change our tactics because we know our quality and we have to continue like we did in the beginning of the season.

"We have a lot of games, it will be very hard I think. (But) I'm really confident about the next games coming up."

Wolves kept their 12th clean sheet in 22 matches when winning 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.

Saiss thinks Wolves' match-winner Ruben Neves will only improve – and he believes that clean sheets will be the key in Wolves' promotion charge.

"The clean sheet is important if you want to go to the Premier League," he said.

"We controlled the game (at the back), we have three big guys at the back so it's not easy for the opponent.

"Sometimes we had the opportunity to kill the game if you play better.

"But if you can't do better you have to keep the win and we did that.

"We can keep the score (down) very well.

"We can do better (going forward) but if not we have to not concede a goal.

"We can't do perfection but if you go close it's good.

"I hope we continue like that because it's important. It's hard not to concede a goal in the Championship – we have a lot of teams who want to beat us now and put on a lot of pressure.

"In this team every player can attack and defend.

"We play games like we play in training. We need to stay serious in training and play well and not think every game is easy.

"Against Bolton and Leeds we scored lots of goals, sometimes we can play against a team and it's different, like Sunderland."

Of Neves, Saiss added: "I think he's a very good player and talent. He can do better because he is just 20 years old.

"He's an important player and it's a pleasure to play with him."
