LETTER: A piece of Black Country heritage has been lost forever

I read with dismay that the 18th century Crooked House pub at Himley (also known as the Wonky Pub) has been burnt and demolished.

The Crooked House has been demolished

It was known far and wide.

I wish it could have been donated to the Black Country Living Museum who could have arranged demolition brick-by-brick to be rebuilt as close as possible to how it was, to safeguard it to be available to see and enjoy, joining other rebuilt buildings there.
