Woman arrested in Brierley Hill on suspicion of drink-driving after noticing 'strong smell of wine'

A woman has been arrested and charged over an alleged drink-driving offence in Brierley Hill.

Police officers came across the vehicle parked up and said they noticed a strong smell of alcohol on speaking to the driver. She blew 109 microgrammes of alcohol in a roadside test and then failed to provide a specimen in custody. It happened on Thursday evening.

She has been charged and will attend court at a later date.
