Staffordshire Police Officers, along with the British Trust for Ornithology and Forestry England, have been working to protect the area following several shootings of peregrines and the use of spring traps.

On Thursday they celebrated their success after the birds successfully fledged and moved further away from the nesting site.

The cameras were supplied and fitted free of charge from Smartwater and have enabled the area to be monitored 24/7.

The feed was sent to members of the Bird Ringing Group, rural crime officer PC Darren Wilkes and PCSO Louise Jones.
