Staffordshire crash victim named as 24-year-old from Norton Canes

The Staffordshire biker killed in a crash on bank holiday Monday has been named as 24-year-old Conna Stewart.

Conna, from Norton Canes near Cannock, died after his blue Suzuki motorbike was in collision with a silver Renault Megane on the A5 Watling Street at Weston-under-Lizard near to Chester Road earlier this week. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family have now paid tribute to a 'vibrant young man who lived life to the maximum'.

A statement said: "On Bank Holiday Monday our world fell apart when we were informed of the tragic death of our eldest son Conna.

“Conna was a vibrant young man who lived life to the maximum. He was always full of love and laughter for everyone that had the pleasure of being part of his life.

“A big void, that will never be filled, has been left in our hearts and in our home. Continued messages and offers of support are helping us through this difficult time and we thank you all for these. God bless you Son – shine bright like a diamond.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information should contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 544 of May 1.
