The 22-year-old Spaniard has signed a five year contract. It ends a summer of speculation and negotiations.

"I already knew (I wanted to go to Wolves), it's a great team with a good history," Traore said.

"I'm so happy, it's a great day for me, for my family.

"I hope to show what I can do (on the pitch). I will say thank you to the club, to the gaffer as well for making this possible.

"I'm ready for work.

"It's great if I can do it and come here and help the team, work for this team. My mentality is work every day and be prepared for whatever comes.

"People who know me know I like to work hard, to push myself every day."

Traore impressed against Wolves last season – and he was impressed with them too as Wolves stormed to the Championship title with 99 points.

He believes his style of play will fit in well at Molineux.

"I think Wolves is ready for the Premier League," he added. "They're here because they're ready.

"I think I'll enjoy playing in this team, my mentality is to fit whatever is the tactics.

"I'm young, I like to learn and I know if I add different things it's good for me.

"How the Wolves play definitely suits me, I've already watched their games and before I make any decision I already know how they play, how they move, how the wingers play.

"I think my message for the fans is 'believe' in this team. We'll work 100 per cent, everything is possible."
