Chris Snow, who is from Stafford, spent around 60 hours making the instrument by hand on top of working full-time as an IT manager in schools.

He was taught how to build the guitar by Martin Dixon, from MD Guitars.

Lifelong Wolves fan Chris, aged 47, was given the inspiration for the project by his wife of 20 years, Emma.

He said: “My friend and I wanted to go on a guitar building course and I found Martin through my guitar teacher.

“My wife had the idea of making it in the shape of the Wolves logo, which is a completely different shape.

“I think it took about 10 days in total to build the guitar – and I spent around 60 hours working on it.”

Performances on the pitch at Molineux this season have been music to the ears of Wolves fans and after such a stellar campaign there was no better time to make the special guitar.

Chris said: "I have always been a big Wolves fan, I was a long-time season ticket holder and I still follow them.

“I have been playing guitar for a few years now – but if I am honest, I am a lot better at making them than I am playing them.

"This is the first one I have built properly and I am really pleased with it – I have had a lot of feedback from others saying they like it too.”
