But the boss says he will not be making strict rules when it comes to deciding who to rest and who to play.

The Baggies take on Brentford on Friday in what is their second match of a spell that sees them play nine games in 33 days. Bilic admits keeping his players fresh is going to vital as his team competes to win a place in the Premier League.

But he says a players form has a big impact on how tired they are feeling.

“We will rotate, but we won’t be strict,” Bilic said. “These are very important games. If a player feels good, he can play for longer.

“It’s about what you see from the player.

“We can’t look at one game totally isolated.

“We’ll have a bigger picture. But we will not jeopardise a game.”

It’s in attack where Albion are blessed with a wealth of talent.

But Bilic says form is the most important thing when picking a forward line.

“The front players, they rotate even in normal conditions,” the Croatian continued. “Before the virus, they’re sprinting the most, they’re that kind of player. It depends how they play. As I’ve said, we have the quantity of the quality.

“The players have expressed themselves and they’ve given me a headache in a good way.

“We have good options, but we are where we are because some players have played better than others.

“It’s a privilege to have them all available. Of course when you play every three days, their physical condition and freshness will be a major part when you’re making the decision, for that game or the next game – if you spare somebody who looks tired.”
