Albion's centre-backs Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi each scored a header from a corner at the back post to give the Baggies a 2-1 win in South Wales.

It is the second time Moore's men have won three games in a row in the league this season, and the Baggies boss was pleased to see work on the training ground pay off.

"We just thought that we could expose the far post area," explained Moore. "Matty (Phillips)'s delivery was spot on and we feel that in Craig and Ahmed we've got two central defenders that heading is a strong point to their game.

"Both got the timing of their run spot on and got the right contact. You have to be pleased when you work on something like that in training and it comes off."

After falling behind to Oli McBurnie's goal ten minutes in, Dawson levelled things up three minutes later before Hegazi gave the Baggies the lead on the stroke of half-time.

"The boys have found a different way to win the game tonight," said Moore. "It was an area on the pitch that we thought we might exploit.

"The important one was Craig Dawson's, responding quickly before Swansea could settle down."

Swansea were the better team in the first half but Albion took the sting out of the game after the break and ground out an impressive away win.

"It was a tough game," said Moore. "Swansea asked some questions of us. It was tough for us tactically in the first half an hour to get to grips with the game.

"I'm really pleased we responded quickly to their goal. We settled down a bit and once we got the second goal we made a tactical change.

"Where they were creating overloads in midfield, we pushed an extra man in there.

"When it went wide it was a one v one situation, but I thought Tosin (Adarabioyo) and (Kieran) Gibbs did really well and the side slid over when necessary.

"Graham Potter has got a really good team, his coaching style is excellent. You have to be on top of your game in terms of off the ball and I thought that was excellent.

"There are two aspects to the game, there's one in possession of the ball and out of the ball.

"I thought we did really well to nullify Swansea and in the second half both teams cancelled each other out.

"The experience of the team saw the game through.

"I'm really pleased with the performance, it was gritty and we found another way of how to win the game."

Moore didn't make a substitute until the 87th minute, but he explained that he didn't want to ruin his side's cohesion.

"I was pleased [with how they were playing]," he said. "I just thought there was no need to make a sub, the players had come to terms with the system.

"When there's a tactical game going on like that you seldom want to make a sub that could disjoint it or lose momentum."
