The 21-year-old arrived from Bournemouth on loan last month and made a short cameo in the win over Port Vale last week.

With the squad still awaiting news on Rory Holden’s injury recovery, Vincent has been given the licence to spark attacks from midfield.

“When I have spoken to the manager, he has just told me that he wants me to take risks,” Vincent said.

“Obviously take those risks in the right areas but he wants me to create chances and play forward which is what I am hoping to do really. The gaffer is a big character but I am really liking the vibe here so far.

“On the ball, I like to think that I am quite a creative player that can create chances for my team mates. I still haven’t got a career goal so hopefully I can change that in the coming weeks or this season, that’s definitely a goal of mine. I would say that I am a creative player who’s left-footed and I like to look forward and pass forward so that is what I will be trying to do for the team.

“I have heard a lot of players say that the boys are really welcoming when you first come in and to be fair, the boys have been very very welcoming. I spoke to the gaffer a few times and he has been asking me how I have been getting on and I just said there doesn’t seem to be any bad eggs in the team and there is a really good vibe here.

“As soon as I came here, there has just been good vibes.”
