The Grecians currently sit fourth in League Two and are in the mix for automatic promotion this year.

However, with the Saddlers also in good form, Clarke is looking for his side to put on a good showing against Matt Taylor's team.

"We've had Northampton and Port Vale come here in the last two home games and the performances have been good - we have to look to build on that," he said.

"With Exeter, Matt Taylor has been there a while now and has the platform of his squad together.

"They deserve all the plaudits for their consistency this season, but like any team in this division, and they'll know this too, anyone can give you a good game.

"We probably come into the game as slight underdogs as they're fighting for automatic promotion but it's a game we're looking forward to and we're prepared well for."

Academy striker Luke Pearce could be involved in the 18 tomorrow, after Clarke confirmed he will be in the 20-man squad at the stadium.

The 15-year-old, who has impressed for the reserves, was meant to be included last week before the trip to Stevenage was postponed.

"He's done well and scored goals so he'll be in the squad tomorrow," Clarke added.

"He'll be in the squad of 20, so when I say squad that means 20 so there's no guarantee (he'll be in the 18).

"We want to give one or two young players an opportunity so it's a bit of a balancing act.

"We want to win all the games we have remaining, that's whoever the team is.

"That's the winning mentality that you want to put through a football club."
