The Saddlers striker enjoyed a fantastic start to the new year by netting seven goals in six matches. That run included an impressive hat-trick as Walsall beat Gillingham 3-0 on January 19.

Yesterday, that form saw the 28-year-old nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award which is run in conjunction with the EFL.

But today he has been nominated for a second player of the month award – with this honour voted for by fans.

Luton's James Collins and Matthew Pearson, Plymouth's Ruben Lameiras, Barnsley's Alex Mowatt, and Charlton's Ben Purrington are the other nominees.
