Stourbridge went out of the FA Trophy after a goal in each half for the home side.
Conditions were wet and rainy but both teams adapted well in an entertaining first half where Stourbridge had more chances than Kettering.
But Kettering took theirs, Ben Toseland producing a swirling shot from the edge of the box which flew in on 15 minutes.
The second goal came ten minutes from time with the home side well on top, Rhys Hoeness heading a cross from Ben Milnes into the net.
