Jordan Tunnicliffe departs Kidderminster Harriers

Jordan Tunnicliffe has become the latest player to depart Kidderminster Harriers with the defender joining AFC Fylde.

The 23-year-old signed a two-year-deal with the Coasters after turning down the offer of a new contract at Aggborough.

Centre-back Tunnicliffe made more than 50 appearances for Harriers this season, winning the players’ player of the year award as they finished second behind Fylde in National League North, eventually missing out on promotion through the play-offs.

But he has now joined attacking duo Darryl Knights and Arthur Gnahoua in leaving the club.

Harriers will be entitled to compensation as part of the deal due to Tunnicliffe being under the age of 24.

Knights and Gnahoua also turned down the offer of a new deal with the club in order to continue their careers elsewhere.

The former has moved to Harriers’ National League North rivals Tamworth, while top scorer Gnahoua has signed a two-year deal with League One Shrewsbury Town.

Contract offers remain on the table for several players including left-back Zaine Francis-Angol and midfielder Elton Ngwatala.

“Obviously losing one or two obviously means that we’ll have to replace them with good players," said Eustace.

“Whatever happens, it gives opportunities for others to come in and do as well, if not better.”
