Aston Villa midfielder Idrissa Gana is set to have a scan to reveal the extent of damage from a hamstring injury while on international duty with Senegal.
The 25-year-old was in action for his country's 2-0 African Cup of Nations victory over Namibia and missed the following match against South Africa.
The all-action midfielder has been a key figure for manager Tim Sherwood since his summer move from Ligue 1 side Lille.

Gana has won plaudits for his tough-tackling approach but also ability on the ball, as Villa sought a replacement for Fabian Delph who left for Manchester City.
He's appeared in all four of Villa's Premier League clashes so far and Sherwood will be hopeful that the scan reveals minimal damage.
