Man dies after being hit by a car in Kidderminster

A pedestrian who was hit by a car in Kidderminster has died from his injuries.

The pedestrian was hit by a car in Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster, in the early hours of Tuesday

The 36-year-old old man had been walking with a man on a pedal bike in Stourbridge Road in the early hours of Tuesday when he was hit by a black Mini Cooper.

He suffered seriously head injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later died, a West Mercia Police spokesman confirmed.

The incident took place at around 12.15am and the Mini was driving along the road in the direction of the Horsefair area.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the crash and are particularly keen to see any dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident.
