CB Beautiful Group opened a salon in Lichfield Road, Walsall Wood, on Saturday and owner Charlie Battison decided to raise funds for charity too.

Facials were offered at a cut price and customers donated to the charity as well as entering a raffle.

Charlie said: "The business has been going for a couple of years and this is the first salon.

"We've always rented a room in the back of someone else's shop previously.

"I chose Barnardo's as I am an aunty but couldn't have children myself. My niece said to me recently 'it's such a shame that not everybody has an Aunty Charlie', so that made me pick Barnardo's.

"We do semi-permanent make up, but we couldn't do it on the day as it was too busy in the salon.

"We did facials, peels, LED face masks and they were all done very very cheaply.

"We also held a raffle for treatments.

"We had about 160 customers in, we had to get people in the shop in intervals it was so busy."
