Car ends up on its roof in crash near Bridgnorth

A car ended up on its roof in crash at a village near Bridgnorth.

Two fire crews from Bridgnorth were sent to the B4176 at Claverley at 11.58am on Monday, following a report of a road traffic collision.

The crews reported that there were no persons trapped in the incident and that the police were also at the scene.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe and sent their incident stop message 50 minutes later at 12.48pm.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said they received a call around midday reporting a collision on the B4176, Claverley.

"On arriving at the scene officers found a car on its roof, this being the only vehicle involved.

"The driver and passenger had minor injuries."

They added that the vehicle had to be recovered.
