Steven Mills, aged 58, sold set top boxes, Amazon Fire sticks and provided passwords and apps.

It enabled his customers to watch games on Sky Sports and BT Sport without having to pay for subscriptions to the channels.

Shrewsbury Crown Court heard that FACT, an organisation which carries out anti-piracy and intellectual property fraud investigations, carried out a test purchase of a set top box from Mills.

Further investigations found that he had been running the operation for a total of three years and nine months from October 2017 to July 2021, and had made a "significant monetary gain".
