Walsall murder accused denies killing man in nightclub

A 39-year-old man from Oldbury has denied murdering a Walsall nightclubber.

Edward Wilson is accused of stabbing to death 29-year-old Akeem Francis-Kerr in Valesha's, Newport Street, on March 11.

Appearing before Birmingham Crown Court today, Wilson, of Temple Way, pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder.

The trial will begin at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday, September 11.
