Jailed: Telford Tesco thief stole £130 of electrical gear

A thief who stole electrical goods from a Telford supermarket has been jailed.

Nathan Crossley, aged 33, stole £130 worth of items from Tesco at Wrekin Retail Park, Telford on February 19 this year.

Crossley, of Aldridge Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to one count of theft at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.

He was jailed for 12 weeks due to what was described in court as his "flagrant disregard" of court orders, people and their property. He must also pay £130 in compensation to Tesco.
