Armed robbers threaten staff at pub near Kidderminster

Armed robbers threatened staff to hand over cash from the till in a raid at a pub near Kidderminster.

The men robbed the Mare and Colt pub, on the A449 Worcester Road, at around 7.25pm on October 26.

No staff were injured in the incident while the men fled the pub in a dark coloured car.

West Mercia Police has launched an investigation and asked any witnesses with information to get in touch quoting incident number 00575i of October 26.

Police inspector Kirsty Hickling, of West Mercia Police, said: "The men threatened the staff with small batons until they handed over a quantity of cash from the till.

"Thankfully, none of the staff were hurt however the three men then left the pub in a dark coloured car.

"The investigation is in the early stages and I would ask anyone with any information to please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 00575i of 26 October 2020."
