Appeal to find man who spat at bus driver

Police have launched an appeal to trace a man who spat a bus driver in the West Midlands.

The bus driver was spat at on the 67 bus – which travels between Birmingham city centre and Castle Vale – on April 15, at around 7.20pm.

It is believed the man became aggressive towards the driver after refusing to pay for a bus ticket.

He then spat at the driver, before leaving the bus.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Do you know this man? We would like to speak to him after a bus driver was spat at while driving the 67 bus on April 15 around 7.20pm.

"It is believed a man became aggressive towards the driver by banging on the protective screen of the cab after refusing to pay for a ticket, he then spat at the driver before getting off the bus.

"If you know who he is, please get in touch."
