CCTV appeal after hit-and-run in Birmingham

A driver hit a pedestrian in Birmingham and left the scene.

CCTV has been released in a witness appeal after the 29-year-old man was hit in Wood End Road, Erdington, just after 11pm on February 24.

The victim was taken to hospital with a leg injury and found to have a fracture.

PC Craig Pallett, from the Traffic unit, said: “I would like to speak to the driver of a silver old shape Ford Fiesta car which hit the man, and simply find out what happened that night.

“We are still investigating this collision and want any witnesses who saw the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, to speak to us as soon as possible."
