Teenager stabbed in Dudley High Street

A teenager has been stabbed in Dudley town centre.

The 17-year-old boy was attacked at around 4.55pm this afternoon.

It happened on the High Street and police this evening had cordoned off an area outside a Co-operative Travel store.

The boy was taken to hospital with injuries that police believe are not life threatening.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and is currently in custody.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
