The employment team at law firm Higgs & Sons in Brierley Hill will host the free virtual Getting Back To Work event on Tuesday, March 30 at 9.30am.

Issues such as addressing vaccination policy and the potential discrimination risks around it, workplace testing and implementing home or flexible working initiatives will all be on the agenda.

Places at the webinar can be booked at https://www.higgsandsons.co.uk/latest/2021/02/23/webinar-getting-back-to-work/

Tim Jones, head of employment at Higgs & Sons, said: “We are entering arguably the most uncertain and turbulent period for employment law in recent decades.

“While many employees around the country are currently working from home, the outlook is providing hope of a return to the workplace in the medium-term future.

“There will be lots of questions for employers to answer in the coming months and it’s vital that they keep on the right side of employment law and associated risks such as discrimination, data protection and general policies and procedures at all times.

“Given the economic fallout of the pandemic, there is a real danger that some businesses will also have to contemplate a restructuring process – particularly when the Furlough scheme ends - which opens up a completely different set of legal issues.

“During the 45-minute webinar, we will be touching on all the major issues and how businesses could be affected before opening up to the floor for a questions and answers session in the final stages.

“The discussions will be relevant to all business owners, leaders or HR representatives from across all sectors.”
