Wolverhampton firm thanks employees with day of family fun - and a chance to soak the boss

More than 2,000 workers at a Wolverhampton firm joined their families for a special fun day to thank staff for their hard work.

Collins Aerospace opened its doors to employees and their families as it held the event on Saturday.

The aerospace company was founded in 1903 under HM Hobson and was later bought by Lucas in 1969.

Decades later and the business is now known as Collins Aerospace, which was created in 2018 by bringing together UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins and employs more than 1,500 people.

Collins Aerospace serves customers which include original equipment manufacturers, engine manufacturers, airlines, airports, business aviation owners and operators, along with defence ministries and government agencies and contractors.
