WATCH: 100 firefighters tackle huge blaze at Bilston workshop

Up to 100 firefighters have been battling a blaze at an auto repair workshop in Bilston this morning.

Fire crews have been battling the fire in Oxford Street this morning from around 2am, which is said to have caused hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Around 70 firefighters remained on scene at around 8am, by 9am it had been scaled down further to 25 firefighters. The fire is yet to be extinguished.

A fire investigation team is also currently on scene and a large area of the industrial estate remains cordoned off.

Seven firms have been affected by the blaze - which took hold of five large units. Firms affected include All Appliance Centre, AB Autos and Stag Metals.

Nearby residents have been warned to stay inside and keep their windows and doors closed.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
