Ben said: “I posted one of my designs onto Twitter when Wolves played at Wembley last season [the 3-2 loss to Watford in the FA Cup semi-final].

“I saw the imagery of Raul Jimenez scoring and celebrating and decided to make a design with the words ‘it’s a hard defeat but Raul did us proud’.

“This then blew up and went viral and I gained a large following in which I posted edits of players and different graphics daily.

“I felt that no-one was really covering the Wolves with these graphics, so I decided to go through the squad and sort of make a tick list of each player doing different things.”

Among Ben’s artwork includes creating Adama Traore, who boasts incredible pace, in the image of Marvel comic hero of The Flash, whose superhuman abilities include being really fast.

Another piece is ‘Once Upon a Time in Molineux’, showing a selection of the players around a picture of Wolves’ famous old ground.

The name is a play on the hit Western movie Once Upon a Time in The West.

Others include the Italian Job, featuring recent-signing Patrick Cutrone and Nuno Espirito Santo in a mocked up poster of The Godfather. Ben’s Wolves-focused artwork includes other Wolves players against eye-catching backdrops.

Asked about his favourite design, Ben said: “To be honest it’s difficult to pick a favourite.

“However, I’d mention it’s just amazing when I go to games and I see other fans with my artwork as their wallpaper on their phones.

“That’s pretty incredible. But I’d say the recent work with the club for their kit launch was something very special.

“The way fans sent me messages about it and feedback was inspiring. That’s something that definitely has been consistent.

“I have found the way fans have supported and shared my content daily which as an artist is worth everything.”

He added of his love for the club: “Wolves is practically like a religion in our family over many years.

“Through the highs and lows its been an interesting time to be a Wolves fan and see where the club has been before. Now, where I feel it’s only going to go, is up and up.”
