The 68-year-old from Wolverhampton will appear at An Audience With Jim Lea at the Robin 2, where a recording of his first solo gig at the venue back in 2002 will be shown.

The event, hosted by BBC WM's Paul Franks, will be a daytime event, starting at 12.30pm.

At 1pm the first official showing of For One Night Only will take place, with a Q and A session with Jim from 2.30pm. The movie will be officially released on October 23.

The film is a recording of Jim's first solo show, which took place at The Robin 2 in November 2002 - the gig was called Jim Jam.

Due to illness – he has been battling prostate cancer – he will be unable to perform musically.

An Audience With Jim Lea will take place on November 5. Tickets to the event cost £15 in advance or £17 on the door.
