Stafford Gatehouse announce cast for new panto Robin Hood

Stafford Gatehouse have announced the cast of their brand new pantomime Robin Hood.

Their adaptation of the classic tale has a rock'n'roll twist with the show featuring classic songs such as The Hippy Hippy Shake, I Shot the Sheriff, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Kiss, Born to Run, Signed, Sealed, Delivered and more.

Sandy Grigelis is to take on the role of Robin Hood and Anthony Hunt is set to play his antagonist the Sherrif of Nottingham. Samuel Townsend is to play Numbskull and Friar Tuck, Steve Simmods is to play Nanny Nelly Nightnurse, and Dominic Gee-Burch is to take on the roles of Portcullis, Little John and Cecil.

Rachel Nottingham is to play Britney, Celia Cruwys-Finnigan will play Whitney and Laura Sillet will play damsel Maid Marrion.

Mike Sadler will play Much the Miller's Son and Monsieur Le Coq, and Robert Wade will play Will Scarlett and Blondel.

The show will be the sixth consecutive rock ‘n’ roll panto at the Gatehouse Theatre since its return in 2012. This year Stafford Gatehouse Theatre welcomes back the critically-acclaimed Creative Team behind last season’s show - director Rob Salmon, musical director Craig Adams and choreographer Verity Bray.

Robin Hood and The Babies in the Wood runs from December 7, 2017 until January 7, 2018.
