LovePower and Peace is the debut single from the new album of the same name by Robin George's LovePower, which features Pete Haycock (The Climax Blues Band), Charlie Morgan (Elton John band), Mel Collins (King Crimson), Jacquie Williams (Sister Sledge), Charley Charlesworth (Dangerous Music) and Robin George.

There are further contributions from Vix (Fuzzbox), former Emmerdale star Freya Copeland from Stafford, Geri Minelli and The Women in Music International Choir, as well as 200 school children from choirs all over England and Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep).

There are even backing vocals from the Express & Star's Ian Harvey and Debbie Bennett who attended the recording session at Robanna's Studio in Birmingham.

Robin George, hit the charts in the 80s with Heartline and now runs a recording business in Andalucia, Spain.

He has spent over two years working on the project and said: "This has been a real labour of LovePower. All the time and talent poured into this mission has been heart-warming, to say the least. We are all honoured to be working with such fabulous musicians for such deserving causes."

The LovePower and Peace album features 60 world class musicians including Arthur Brown, Daniel Boone, John Wetton and artists from bands such as The Rolling Stones, UFO, Hanoi Rocks, Asia and Motorhead.

"They are all united by the desire to put something back," said Robin.

The single can be downloaded from www.lovepowerandpeace.co.uk and every penny of the 69p purchase will go directly to the Macmillan account.
