Cradley are giving fans the chance to meet their favourite riders at their next home meeting on Monday, August 19.

Anchor Logistics Heathens face Plymouth in a crucial National League fixture at Monmore Green with Will Pottinger’s men clinging on to outside hopes of a top-four finish.

Once again club bosses have made the meeting free for all children – and riders will also be available on entry to the stadium from 6.45pm to sign autographs and have pictures with fans.

It’s the penultimate home league outing for the nomadic club who are still racing home meetings away from the Cradley area.

Club co-boss Nigel Pearson said: “We were very pleasantly surprised by the crowd levels in our last home meeting against Stoke when you consider the British Final was on TV at the same time.

“It’s very encouraging and positive, the aim is to make the event an enjoyable night out during the school summer holidays and it was the obvious thing to do to make the next meeting free for the kids.

“We’ll also be asking the boys to go to the entrance and sign autographs and have pictures with fans.”

“As usual there will be bars and catering, including the Ice Cream van, souvenir shop and pre-meeting tunes played by Smooth Radio’s Jason Harrold.

“We look forward to a fun night of entertainment – hopefully with a home win for the boys!”
