Wolves' season ranks among worst in club's history for goals scored

Should Wolves draw a blank at Arsenal on Sunday, they will not only record their lowest ever Premier League total of goals scored, it would also rank as the second worst goalscoring league season in their history.

Currently sat on a miserly 31 goals from 37 Premier League matches, the Molineux men are bottom of the charts for finding the net in the top flight this season. That’s just 0.86 goals per game so far. Indeed, their goals-scored column is the equal worst in league football this term – with only lowly Forest Green Rovers scoring the same number in a miserable season which saw them relegated from League One.
