The Baggies took the lead against Stoke City in the 11th minute at The Hawthorns last night thanks to an impressive strike from outside the area from Oliver Burke after he had been sent clear down the left hand side by James Morrison.

Morrison and Burke then had a hand in Albion's second goal, with the veteran midfielder finding the speedy youngster again in the 51st minute before he squared the ball to Rekeem Harper for a tap-in.

However, the Potters pulled a goal back when Krisztofer Szereto's low shot deflected in off defender Kyle Howkins.

And the away side made it 2-2 with 11 minutes to go when Oliver Shenton headed in.

The Baggies stole the win with three minutes to go when Leko flicked the ball up with his back to goal and volleyed it on the swivel into the far corner.

However, his joy was short-lived because moments later he was shown a second yellow card and sent off the field.

The 3-2 win is the first of the season for Jamie Smith's men following four defeats and two draws.
