The Foxes head to Villa Park on a seven-match winning streak which has them sitting second in the Premier League.

But goalkeeper Heaton insists Villa are relishing the challenge and believes another raucous home crowd can help knock the visitors off their stride.

The hosts have already come close to taking down unbeaten leaders Liverpool this term and a sell-out crowd will once again descend on B6.

Heaton said: “Leicester certainly look the part but there will be no fear from us. We will go and take that challenge on.

“There have been some great games at Villa Park already this season. It has been noticeable for me with the atmosphere and the fans getting behind us, it has been brilliant.

“I think it is making it a tough place for teams to come to. We will be looking to go and play our game and take it on, get on the front foot and go and hurt them.”

Villa go into the game looking to rebound from Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea, a result which left them 15th in the table, now just one point above the relegation zone.

But Heaton insists the team aren’t looking over their shoulders.

He said: “I said all along there may well be some tough moments in the season. But it is about riding the storm and sticking together.

“There will be no panic buttons, you just have to keep doing the right things.

“If you keep doing that and keep putting performances in then the results come.

“We are 15 games into the season now and there is a long way to go. The table is tight and I think it is a tight league this year.

“I think we need to focus on what we are about and take it one game at a time.”
