Wolves

Wolves look set to miss out on the signing of Patrick Cutrone with the player not overly keen on a switch to Molineux, according to reports in Italy.

It had been reported that the club were in talks over a deal worth around £20 million.

Cutrone’s switch to Wolves may have hit a snag, however, with the player preferring to stay in Serie A.

West Brom

Albion are chasing Everton defender Mason Holgate, as they eye another loan move for the centre-half, according to reports.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season at The Hawthorns, and Slaven Bilic's side are keen on bringing the Toffees centre-back in on another loan deal.

Everton are understood to be against Holgate leaving Goodison Park though, even if it was a temporary deal, which could signal Marco Silva’s plans to give the youngster a starring role.

Meanwhile, Leeds United are not interested in rivalling the Baggies for the services of Brentford midfielder Romaine Sawyers, according to reports.

West Brom are understood to be in talks with Brentford regarding a potential move for the 26-cap Saint Kitts and Nevis captain, after they saw a £2.2million bid rejected.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa are reportedly keen to sign Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Nothing has been publicly agreed yet, though according to reports the Brazilian youngster is set to become Villa’s latest summer signing in the next few days for a fee of £15 million.

According to reports in Turkey, Galatasaray officials are awaiting a bid from Aston Villa for their DR Congo defender Christian Luyindama.

The Turkish champions paid €5m to sign the player this summer after an initial loan spell last season. However, reports say they are in line to make quick profit if the Premier League side comes in for the 25 year old.

Walsall
