The draw guarantees lower league opposition for Wolves following their excellent 2-1 win over Liverpool.

The tie could see a reunion with Dave Edwards who signed for Salop on a two-and-a-half year deal earlier today.

Shrewsbury are also managed by former player Sam Ricketts.

Championship high-flyers Albion travel to Brighton, but Darren Moore's men will fancy their chances of a cup upset.

The draw took place live on BBC One and was conducted by former Wolves duo Carl Ikeme and Robbie Keane.

The fourth round is scheduled to take place between Friday 25 January and Monday 28 January.

Winning clubs will receive £180,000 after The FA doubled the prize fund at the beginning of the season.
