Man taken to hospital after falling from wall in Wolverhampton

A man was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after falling from a wall in Wolverhampton.

An air ambulance and two land ambulances were called to Willenhall Road at about 5.30pm on Monday.

The man was treated for his injuries before being taken to New Cross Hospital by land ambulance.

Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 5.33pm on June 15 to reports of a patient who had fallen from a wall near to Willenhall Road.

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to New Cross Hospital for further assessment."
