Raiders target village Co-op – but leave with just three sandwiches

Raiders stole just three sandwiches during a raid on a supermarket in Cannock.

Police were called to the Co-op store on Stafford Road In Huntington just after 7pm on Thursday.

Four men were spotted acting suspiciously outside the store and trying different locked doors inside the store.

One man stole three sandwiches on his way out and then all four men were seen again outside the store after the theft.

Neighbourhood officers at Staffordshire Police are monitoring the situation and ask for any member of the public with information to call 101 quoting incident number 712 of February 22.
