Teenage boys arrested and knife recovered after two people 'attempted to open car doors' in Dudley

Two teenage boys have been arrested after police received reports of two people attempting to open car doors in Dudley this morning.

A 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested.

A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were located after the incident in Netherton.

A knife was also recovered, leading both teenagers to be arrested for having a bladed article in a public place.

West Midlands Police say both teenagers are in custody.

It comes as police forces attempt to tackle knife crime as part of the nationwide Operation Sceptre campaign.
