Appeal for help finding missing schoolgirl who could be in Birmingham

A missing schoolgirl could be in the Birmingham area, police have said.

Missing Derbyshire teenager Caitlin Wright could now be in the Birmingham area

Caitlin Wright, 14 and from Derbyshire, was last seen near Primark in Coopers Square, Burton, at around 11.30am yesterday.

Derbyshire Police believe that the teenager may have now travelled to the Birmingham area and West Midlands Police has appealed for locals' help tracing her.

A spokesman from Derbyshire Police said: "She is described as white, of medium build with long blonde hair.

"She was wearing a red, white and blue hoodie, black jogging bottoms, a black bandana as a head band and white trainers. Caitlin also wears a black nose ring.

"It is thought that Caitlin may have travelled to Birmingham.

"Anyone who has seen Caitlin, or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to contact us."
