Man injured in fall down 12ft hole

A man was taken to hospital after falling down a 12ft hole on waste ground.

Paramedics were called to former industrial premises in Kendrick Road, Darlaston, at around 5.20pm on Thursday.

The man, who is believed to be in his 20s, suffered cuts, a knee injury and possible fractured leg in the fall.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Steve Parry said the man had been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
