Sanjay and Pawanveer Singh were killed in 2019

A witness who was walking down Birmingham New Road, Wolverhampton, when an Audi driven by Mohammed Sullaiman Khan ploughed into a BMW killing Pawanveer Singh, aged 23 months, and his 10-year-old brother Sanjay, described the carnage caused by the March 2019 crash.

The witness told Wolverhampton Crown Court: "I heard a really loud bang behind me.

"I saw a BMW up against railings and an Audi. I saw an Asian male who appeared to be in shock.

"I asked him 'what's happened' and 'were you involved' and he replied 'yeah, I'm the driver'."

He added: "Another male came over to him, he was very calm, and was telling him to calm down.

"I looked over to the BMW and could see the woman driver, so I went over to ask if she was OK.
