Police appeal after service station staff threatened by man demanding cigarettes
Police are trying to trace a man in connection with an attempted robbery at a service station.
A staff member was threatened with having a substance thrown in their face by a man who demanded cigarettes.
It happened at a service station in Kingstanding Road on July 31.
In an appeal on social media, Birmingham Police said: "Can you tell us who this man is?
"We're investigating an attempted robbery at a service station in Kingstanding Road and want to speak to him.
"A staff member was threatened with having a substance thrown in their face by a man who demanded cigarettes on 31 July."
