Teenager assaulted in Codsall suffered cuts and concussion

A schoolboy assaulted in Codsall suffered cuts and swelling to the head as well as concussion, police have revealed - as they appealed for information.

The incident took place at around 3.15pm on Friday, May 21, in Elliots Lane, Codsall.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "A red Kia Ceed pulled up near the teenage boy and two adult men got out and proceeded to assault him until members of the public intervened. A third man was driving the vehicle.

"The two attackers then got back in the car and drove off in the direction of Codsall, turning right onto Wolverhampton Road.

"The two men who exited the vehicle are described as black, about 5ft 7in in height and wearing black Nike hoodies.

"The victim was left with cuts and swelling to the head as well as concussion."

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage should call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 359 of May 21.
